1. Service Description

beesoo is a macOS desktop app that provides a unified AI conversation interface. Core features include:

• Multi-model aggregation - supports DeepSeek, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, xAI, Meta, Qwen, Kimi, Doubao, MiniMax, Zhipu, Tencent Hunyuan, OpenRouter, and other services through custom APIs.
• Floating panel mode - invoke a floating window above any app with a global shortcut for quick questions.
• Local large model support - connect to large language models running on your local device through the OpenClaw protocol.
• Local data storage - chat records, configuration, and API keys are stored on your local device.

2. Requirements for Use

• You need an Apple device running macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later.
• You are responsible for registering for and obtaining API keys from third-party AI service providers.
• Fees incurred from using third-party AI services, such as API call fees, are borne by you and are unrelated to the App.
• Some App features, such as global shortcuts and auto-reference selected text, require you to grant macOS Accessibility permission.

3. Fees

The App is provided free of charge as a tool. There are no download fees, installation fees, usage fees, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or hidden charges.

Please note that third-party AI service providers may charge for API calls. Such fees are governed by your agreement with the corresponding provider and are unrelated to the App.

4. Account Management

You may sign in to the App with a Google or Apple account. Regarding your account:

• Sign-in is used only to distinguish user identity and provide separate data space for you.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and device secure.
• You may sign out at any time. After sign-out, authentication tokens are cleared from the local device.

5. API Key Use and Security

The App requires you to provide your own third-party AI service API keys to use conversation features. Regarding API keys:

• API keys are encrypted and stored on your local device using macOS Keychain.
• We do not upload your API keys to our servers or any third party.
• You are responsible for keeping your device secure. Any fees or losses caused by API key leakage are borne by you.
• We recommend setting usage limits for API keys with each AI service provider to prevent unexpected spending.

6. User Conduct

When using the App, you must comply with applicable laws and regulations. You must not use the App for the following purposes:

• Generating or distributing content that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Generating content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, or other lawful rights.
• Generating false information, hate speech, or inciting content.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App.
• Using the App to conduct any illegal activity.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with and depends on multiple third-party services, including:

• AI service providers (DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Meta, Tencent Cloud, and others) - provide conversation generation capabilities.
• Authentication services (Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In) - provide account sign-in capabilities.

The availability, performance, and policies of third-party services are controlled by the respective providers. We are not responsible for App issues caused by changes, interruptions, termination, or policy adjustments of third-party services. You must also comply with the terms of service of each third-party provider.

8. Disclaimer for AI-Generated Content

Please note:

• AI-generated content is provided by third-party AI services. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or suitability.
• AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice, including but not limited to legal, medical, or financial advice, and should not be your sole basis for decisions.
• You are responsible for judging and verifying the correctness of AI-generated content. Any losses caused by reliance on AI-generated content are borne by you.

9. Data and Privacy

We make clear commitments regarding your data privacy. Please see our Privacy Policy. Key points include:

• Chat data is stored locally and is not uploaded to our servers.
• API keys are encrypted and protected with macOS Keychain.
• We will never sell or disclose your data.

10. Intellectual Property

The software code, user interface design, icons, the "beesoo" brand name and marks, and related documentation of the App are owned by us. Without our written authorization, you may not copy, modify, distribute, rent, lend, or otherwise use the above content.

Rights to conversation content you create through the App belong to you.

11. Disclaimer

• The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We are not responsible for data loss or feature issues caused by device failure, operating system updates, network problems, or other factors beyond our control.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages caused by use of or inability to use the App.

12. Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The modified Terms will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If material changes occur, we will notify you through in-app notices.

You may stop using the App at any time to terminate these Terms. Uninstalling the App is deemed termination of the Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, it shall be submitted to a court with jurisdiction.
